So I told myself that I would study for a whole month after my Oct. score, but due to school, I have been limited to these 2 weeks. I've had atleast a year worth of SAT prep courses and I've pulled up 2100-2200 scores, but yet, I ended up getting a 1940 on the Oct. test (this was my first sat even though I'm a senior). Would studying my ass off during these 2 weeks really going to help or should I just give up now? I think my problem is that I don't concentrate enough. 670M, 630CR, 640W. What do you guys think my problem is?

The problem is that you and me are two forlorn folks. I took the SAT Oct too and did like bird eats ****. So I decide not to SET ANY GOAL for this Dec and study until I can vomit my lungs out. Just consider that you have nothing more to lose and nothing more to hope, you shall find things relieved a bit.

I love you Cuong. My parents don't understand how torn and hurt my corazon is.

To be more practise, you can drop by this thread, I am asking some Math questions with elaborated scanned images. It might help for these last 9 days before our judgement day comes.

Thanks man. I know that I can potentially score 700+ on W and CR and 800 on M. I just don't know how I can bring my A game because I am ALWAYS nervous even if I have low expectations of myself during test day.

Poor comrade, the same here, I am in a nervous breakdown

Since we are going to take two tests already, you can square both sides of the equation.

That was brilliant, sir.

One way that worked well for me to improve math section was to just sit and do 3-4 math sections. No timing, no pressure. The trick is, don't try to solve it as fast as you possibly can. Try to figure out the tricks and easiest methods for the math problems with time as a minor consideration. Then, try timing your math sections. My weakest point is probability as well as rates (OMG). For those, just suck up your pride and prepare for the worst. If you can somehow memorize the process, you'll be golden.

Now about that CR...

10 minutes before my 5hour SAT hell begins.

I think no matter how easy the question is, I always write down every single step into a note book and instead of reading US History book for bedtime story I slowly consume that note just like how a vulture gnaws at its dead meet.

So I just finished the Grubber book and did a test from 7-12 (omg). Based on my recent hell fest, I feel that the book goes a little too "over and beyond" with the SAT. Does anyone else feel the same way? I've learned some amazing things just now, but SAT seems a lot easier than Grubber's book.

PS: What are some of the key points to achieve a good score on the SAT essay? (write big, short sentences, etc, anything) And is it better for me to use examples of myself or examples from books, movies, etc to get a better score? Thanks guys.

i was doing the barrons maths and -------i couldn't do most of the questions- does anyone have an idea what math prep will be effective now that there's just 1 week left..................
