DECA vs Student Council

So I'm trying to choose my focus for my senior year. I am actively involved with both student council and with DECA, but it's unlikely that I will be able to do both next year. So...if it comes down to it, which is more impressive as an ec - president of student council or president of DECA? I will probably be studying business for undergrad.

Advice?

Student council: it means having to lead the whole school, while DECA is only a single club.

Ultimately, what’s most important is what you do with it. If you slack off as studentry president, it’s not worth it. Likewise, you can take DECA to great levels if you work hard.

What matters is which one you can do more in.

Thanks for the feedback - I thought maybe deca was better because it is business-related and i want to study business. Also, it is based on actual ability rather than popularity alone. Your responses have given me new insight. Any more thoughts on this?
