hey guys,
just wondering what decal classes are ( i heard they are one unit courses that will help you fulfill the minimum 13 units) and most importantly, how do we get decal classes??

look at DeCal for the classes. Registering happens in several ways, but the most common is to attend the first session of the class you want, where the CCN code is given to you. You enter the CCN to register on telebears. Some give the CCN.

Some DeCals are more popular than the session has room to accomodate students, thus these use some method to decide who gets the CCNs. Some are based on time of emailing the instructor, some by random draws, but in any case you need a backup plan if you might not be allowed in.

thanks rider!
what decals are usually really popular? is it better to email the instructor beforehand to show you really want the decal class so you’ll have a better chance of getting in?

Read the descriptions and syllabus of each - often the facilitators will tell you what method they use and whether they think there will be more applicants than spaces.

there’s also some you have to sign up in Phase II. I signed up for Premed 101 Decal through Phase II and it’s already full with 100 students and like 15 ppl on waitlist

normally it doesn’t happen like this though. the special instructions were from their premed website
