December 09 Biology Discussion

Discuss specifically after the embargo is lifted.

I, personally, didn't think it was too bad. I took it in October, and it was 100000x easier than that exam.

i thought it was pretty hard compared to the pr i left 3 blank this time i left like 8 ):

ecology was harrddd

I did Bio M. There was that one question about RH-, and what the possibility of something was…was the answer 50% to that one?

biology wasn’t bad but what was most closely related to a rat?

I wrote squirrel but I’m not too sure…

Yeah, squirrels are rodents… :D

i got squirrel too and the rh was on the main thing and i put 50% too but im not too sure

Did you guys say that Chickens and Lizards are the most closely related?

yes i did too hopefull
the order of evolution is
fish
annelida
reptiles
birds
mammals

lol I remember that from some book, was it PR?
FARM with a B in the middle!
Fish
Amphibians
Reptiles
Birds
Mammals

not sure about molecular, but E, or even the main part…didn’t have too much on body systems…
shame, cuz I studied that a lot.

LOL I wrote that down right next to it!

And the enzyme that the pancreas releases to break down protein is pepsin right? That’s so basic but I totally blanked on that one for a second…

lol me too hahah forget the annelida :X
did yall get fern? and diploid with two combined dna?

yep. pepsin breaks the proteins into peptides! P-P-P!

was amlyase an answer? pepsin was for two answers right?

yeah, amylase was the one for which enzyme is secreted by both the Pancreas and the Salivary glands?
then there was also Lipase- for the one used to break down fats

did you get fern as a answer?

hmm…don’t remember…
what was the question?

I remember bryophytes was an answer.
