December 10th, 2011 ACT Score Predictions

Second time taking test, prepped a lot this time around.

My predictions:
33 English - much easier than last time
31 Reading - ran out of time on last few
30 Math - wasn't sure on a few of them
30 Science - Harder than normal

31 composite, good enough for me

33 English (know I missed 1 + stupid mistakes)
36 Math (so easy I wanted to cry)
29 Reading (did the passages out of order… Bad idea)
25 Science (so hard I wanted to cry… Like seriously ***. I got a 32 last time)

Math- Easy
English- Really Easy
Reading- Ok
Science- Terrible

Science may be curved alright this time around if everyone thinks it is horrible.

Reading- 32
English- 32
Math- 28
Science - 28
First time junior

yeah, Science was a toughie.

English - 24
Math - 29
Reading - 31
Science - 25
Composite -28

Best Possible:
Math - 36
English - 36
Reading - 34
Science - 32
That would be a 35, and I would be soooo happy

Worst Possible:
Math - 35
English - 34
Reading - 32
Science - 29
That would be a 33, and I would still be happy

I bet I got a 34, I got a 32 two months ago. Screw that science section, it suuuucked! Math was really easy though.

@dfree124

How many incorrect answers (on each section) are you assuming in your 33 score?

These are very very rough estimates…
Math: 1
English: 2
Reading: 4ish
Science: 6-8

Really really optimistic:
M:36
E:35
R:34
S:33
Pessimistic:
M: 34
E: 33
R:33
S:30
So yeah I’m looking between 33-35, happy with whatever
Science was stupidly hard

Omg science killed me… I normally do decently good :(…
35-36 on eng and math
30-31 reading
:((( 2? Science?

The science test wasn’t that bad! You just had to read a couple of the questions a couple of times to understand what they were asking for!
I think I did a really good job on my essay! I supported legislators who wanted to increase taxes for food. I related it to examples of recent medical findings and used the tax on tobacco products for further ethos.
The English section was quite easy!

First time… I’m 90% sure I got 36W 36M 36R 33S which would be a 35… ■■■!

Urgh… I did terribly on the math section, but then again my high school is notorious for our very low math scores. As a first time junior, I loosely predict:

English:36
Math: 25-27
Reading:34-35
Science: 33
Composite: 30-33

I think my brain exploded…

English: 30-33. I always make some stupid mistakes. I felt so confident about the last ACT English and I ended up with a 31 so yeah, not gonna aim so high.
Reading: 34-35.
Math: 34-35
Science: err…aiming for a 30.

After looking around my predictions have changed.

Math: 34 (2 stupid mistakes…)
English: 35
Reading: 33
Science: 33
Comp: 34

If I could scrape out a 34 that would be sick! A lot of it depends on the potential curves though.

E: 32
R: 31
M: 34
S: 30-35 (Have no idea)

E: 36 (I finished 15 minutes early on this and had enough time to redo every question)
M: 35-36 (stupid mistakes, don’t know of any yet though)
R: 34 (I probably made a stupid mistake somewhere, and the reading curve will surely be nonexistent)
S: 32-34 (1 wrong for sure, 4 wrong in case I totally misunderstood relative velocities)

English: 32
Math: 30 (would -5 be a 29 usually?)
Reading: 33-34
Science: It couldn’t have been higher than like a 25; I guessed on like 10 questions.

Optimistic:
E: 35
M: 36
R: 35
S: 36
C: 36

Pessimistic:
E: 34
M: 35
R: 33
S: 35

Probably somewhere between a 34-36
