"As Cornell admission selection committees approach the end of early decision application review, we want to share information with you regarding Cornells online admission decision notification process.

Early decision applicants will be able to view their admission decisions online on Thursday, December 11, beginning at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). A few days prior to the decision release date, we will contact all early decision applicants by email with instructions for viewing your decision online. Please note that decisions will not be posted on your Cornell online application status account, so please follow the instructions that will be outlined in our email to you.

You do not need to do anything further at this time. We will post a new message on our web site once we have sent the email instructions for viewing your decision online.

Spring transfer applicants: Please note that spring transfer admission decisions will be posted on the Cornell online application status system."

Your self-service application page probably has been updated with this information.

Good luck to ALL. Have my fingers crossed for you guys.

but just in case- I want to pass a little info along. I know a number of kids who were deferred during the ED cycle. But Cornell in the past, does re-evaluate ED applications, and has admitted some ED kids during the regular decision cycle.

So if things don't go your way on 12/11, just know that you could still get a Cornell Acceptance in April.
Good luck!!

So by 5pm they obviously mean like 1 hour later right? We all know right at 5pm Cornell's servers are just gonna get hammered by thousands of students.

and if it's anything like last year or any time we try to enroll in courses make sure to clear out your entire evening to make friends with your refresh button.

I thought they may have sent them out by the end of the week... hopefully we get them on either monday or tuesday (assuming the weekends are inactive)! I'm just so anxious and afraid of it being postponed for whatever reason.
