**December 14 ACT Thread**

Cold blooded and warm blooded is different from endothermic and exothermic…

My scale of 1 to 5 with 5 the hardest

English- 1
Reading- 1
Math- 2.5
Science- hard to tell… Easier than the one I took in June though!

It’s weird because in school subjects I don’t like lit but they’re my best on standardized tests…

@Georgetown14 I think it varies more by individual section difficulty not by month but I don’t know, this is my major question right now

Can someone give me a prediction of grade if this was the case

English: 5x
Math: 6x
Reading: 3x
Science: 2x

Not necessarily what I got, but curious of what that’d be around

@xaqxaq I think that would be 31/32 ish

Okay, thanks

@VaishS that’s a really good point! I never thought about that! I’m just nervous about science because I feel like it’s so unpredictable. The first time I took it I panicked had 3 passages left and filled in random bubbles. Needless to say, I thought I did terribly but ended up with a 30. I don’t know if it was my guessing or a super generous curve!

Wow! A 30 with guessing 3 passages is amazing, great guessing skills! It definitely had to do a lot with ur guessing skills not so much with the curve… I don’t think the curve can do more than 2-3 questions

What is the most wrong you can have to get a 30?

I should add to get a 30 in science

@VaishS thanks for the information! I’m really unfamiliar with how the curves work. I really don’t know what to expect for my science score this time around… I wish all schools super scored.

Ethanking that’s hard to say cuz curves and stuff change all the time but I would say for a 30 no more than 6ish

Ethanking- you can probably miss 5 (give or take a question based on the curve). It might actually be 6 for this test.

You’re welcome georgetown14! I’m just hoping the curve is really generous cuz I’m still praying for a 35ish since I know I didnt get a 36 :frowning: if the curves are in my favor I think a 35 is possible

I put beak because it mentioned something about jumping? Beak was not me tioned at all. Not sure though. I also got five Es in a row ( 70-74)

@VaishS I would do anything for even a 33 haha

The 5 e’s thing might be different from form to form maybe?

I’m extremely angry

My math score is going to be a low 30, where every practice I’ve taken I’ve gotten a 36…

If my math brings down my composite… I don’t even know what I’ll do

@xaqxaq I’m in the same boat unfortunately :frowning: I hve my science score working against me too

What form did you guys have, and the 5 e’s for English?

When do the results come out?
