I'm sure this has appeared in some thread already, but what's with the recommended December 15th deadline??? Do applicants who submit it before then have a better chance?? I didn't realize they recommended that date until now... ANYONE?!

Princeton doesn’t want to receive all the applications on 1/1, so since they don’t have an early program, they have a recommended deadline to try to spread out the applications some. It just helps the admissions office, but it doesn’t affect your admissions chances. It might affect your likelihood of getting an interview though

One question about sending SAT/ACT scores.Haven’t sent out any scores yet as I’m waiting on my Dec scores.Do they need to RECEIVE the EARLIER scores before Jan 1?Or is it okay to wait for the Dec scores to come out and then send all scores once and for all(even though these might not reach them by Jan 1)?I know they are okay with getting the December scores later, but are they expecting the earlier ones to be received by Jan 1st deadline?Anyone know about this?
I guess this question isn’t relevant only to Princeton, answer must be same for most other schools too.I don’t know why this did not strike me earlier, should I get into panic mode???

^ Most places even accept Jan scores, so just send the Dec ones when they come out in a couple of days time I think. Am pretty sure that you can just send all the scores together for Dec. For Jan scores I would suggest sending older scores before and then the Jan ones when they are available.

^thanks Idiosyncra3y…I also posted this question on another board(was really worried that I was maybe too late already).Got the same feedback there too, that it’s okay to send out all scores together once the Dec scores come out.

I was wondering the same thing, college tips. Yay, I’m relieved now.
