<p>Could anyone let me know if the summer offer for Tech is usually given in December (this year it should be on the 17th). Generally I've been told that they offer it early so students are given time to decide. I've got a few applications for backup schools finished and ready to send, but (given the cost) I'd rather wait until I hear from my number one and not have to spend over $200 in ap fees. :D </p>

<p>Summer and wait-list offers come in the Spring. This is because admissions will not know which applicants they want to offer a summer admittance to until they have reviewed all applications.</p>
<p>Do you think it’s the March notification date (with regular decision for Fall 2011) or earlier? I’m going to email admissions and see if there is a separate date. Two months seems like very little time to enroll in classes, do orientation and all that for summer semester. I doubt I’m going to be able to avoid doing my backup-backup school applications.
