December 1st SAT anyone?

Cuong, you want to calm down a little there buddy?
Im taking it too, good luck everyone.

Yea, good luck, vhoidz, good luck to all fellows. God shall protect good people.

Lol, I am not sweating this SAT. It will be my third time taking it. I originally went from a 1690 to an 1860 and now I want to get a 2000, but I'll probably fall somewhere in the 1900's. I am working on my writing section and hope that will get me to break 2000. Good luck to everyone tomorrow, and don't sweat it!

here we go. just last day cramming today.

Tomorrow's the last time I will EVER have to take the SATs, thank god =)
Will be taking subject tests - Biology E and Math II (retake).
Good luck everyone!

Good luck everyone!

Go in there and own the SAT. :)

my last shot at getting my CR to improve 50+ points. lock and load. lol

I'm taking it for the first time tomorrow and of course it landed on the busiest school work week of the year so far...I've had barely any time to study at all.

w/e I'll be retaking in January/March.

agreed with llpitch.

i just took it ... from what time can we start discussing the answers?

I think you can start once the Hawaiian kids (me =[) start taking it which is 8A.M Hawaiian, so 1PM Eastern.

It has been about 3 hours since I finished the SAT 1 today. The Critical Reading was HORRIBLE!!!!!!! Narratives are killing me! Soooooo boring and incomprehensible! There was one about some African girl and her mother and everything about it was so wrong!

Essay was very stupid, didn't actually get what they wanted me to say. (something about inventions, didn't understand it at all!)

Math was normal, I think I did ok. Writing multiple-choice was ok also. But the CR was killer. Everyone seemed drained and sad after the test. I just wanted to get rid of the damn headache.

Those who are taking SAT 1 today, you're pretty screwed (like me) on Critical Reading. I guess most of you will do better on the essay than me. Good luck to everyone.

IMPORTANT: Embargo SAT Discussion
We remind everyone that all discussions regarding the December 1, 2007 SAT Reasoning and Subjects Tests are prohibited until we specifically lift the embargo.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Moderator Trinity

(general "this part was hard, I think I did better on this part..." are OK in the meantime, though)

Critical Reading was killer!!! Math was harder than October test. And my Writing section also seemed harder for me. I was expecting something else -- more like blue book Writing sections.

we've got so much to discuss on the critical reading ppl.

i do think that this time the curve will be more lenient than the one from the november test... i see from some of the ppl that have posted up threads on the november scores that the curve was pretty ****ty.

can we start discussing?? i remember so many questions from cr.

We can start discussing, I think.
CR was ... I'm speechless.

i totally agree with you kxliu. it was a killer...

what was the dummy section? one with the disney passage right?

Please tell me the math section with the Oil barrels was experimental.

:-(

And William Shakespeare passage... kills self

i had cr for exp. and i don't remember any oil barrel question from math, so i believe that would make it experimental skater.

did u have the disney passage?

I only had 3 math sections so I doubt any were experimental. I had 4 writing sections so one of the writing sections is probably experimental.
