damn, guessed wrong. oh well that's just one question I guess. What was the one where it gave some passage or something and then asked if the piece was an example of like : pragmatism, marxism, idealism, transcendent.?

"life of law is not logic, but comes from experience" was the quote or something like that. i put transcendentalism but i think i'm wrong

I think that one was pragmatism...but i could be wrong.

oh i just googled it and it was said by oliver wendell holmes who was a transcendentalist

quote from Kaplan: "Pragmatism: Philosophical movement, with deep roots in the United States, which holds that truth emerges from experimentation and experience rather than from abstract theory..."

ooh wow that's tough then, I went with pragmatism though

What was the answer to the one about the cartoon that was like "who stole the money from the public" with a circle of people pointing at each other?

Was that the Tammany Ring one? If so, then the answer was something like corruption in New York

It was definitely corruption in NY.

yeah definitely NY one. I wasn't sure until I noticed it said Tammany Ring on the ground after looking at the thing for like 20 seconds lol

Oh man, I didnt see Tammany Ring! Wow, that would've made my life a lot easier. I just recognize the fat guy as Tweed after staring at it for a long time. Damn. Good job, Nick.

Marshall plan helped European countries
Grapes of Wrath is about migrant farm workers being exploited, not fall of mid class

i know that the answer to either the truman or johnson question was the nationalization of basic industries. but i cant remember which one...

Grapes of Wrath, the Joads weren't middle class. They were farmers. The answer was Main Street according to some people from this thread.

South Carolina major crop: Rice
Marshall plan: help European nations
Novel about middle class of '20s: Main street
