December 2007 World History

Thought it was pretty easy. What did you guys think?

I guessed a lot

Are you kidding me? The test was way harder than College Board's practice tests - it was more of a Barron's style practice test. I got 800 on both CB's practice tests (with only 2 wrong on each) and I'm sure I got at least 3 - 8 wrong on this one. Blegh.

Oh well, -8 still equals 800, so I'm happy.

Barron's style practice tests FTW.

when can we discuss?

IMPORTANT: Embargo SAT Discussion
We remind everyone that all discussions regarding the December 1, 2007 SAT Reasoning and Subjects Tests are prohibited until we specifically lift the embargo.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Moderator Trinity

(you can discuss after we release the embargo)

i thought it wasnt that bad.
easier than both kaplan and barrons

but why would you complain about -8... seriously.

What was the answer to the question with the population pyramids?

I'm trying to think of other tough ones...

i thought it was less and more developed countries

i thought it was that the one on the left was a poor, undeveloped country because it was high birth rate and high death rate. and the other one was a developed, wealthy country because it seemed to have low birth rates and low death rates

yep, that's correct.

Anyone remember the answer to "The Prince" question?

I put something that he has to govern regardless of religious morals or something.

was the big map about the soviets of russia

yeah thats what i thought. what else?

the wheels in mesoamerica, was that because the commerce one?

What was the impact of glasnost and perestroika? I said it exposed Soviet weaknesses or something along those lines...

wasnt it weakness of economics or something

I totally forgot to answer that! I remember studying it, Incas, I thought it was because they didn't have advancement of technology...Maybe they didn't have the concept of 0?

yeah same
how about why was everyone ****ed at japan when they became industrialized? i said because they didnt trade with everyone else

and what was the paul one.. in relation to christianity

i thought it was because they didnt have animals for pushing carts

I thought Paul spread Christianity...something along those lines?
