can someone post the raw score from last time?

i don’t think there will be a huge curve this time

Anyone know when the embargo is lifted?

can we start posting specific questions?

If I had to guess the curve it’d be ~5

baron’s curve is about -6 and it was barrons is harder. I would agree with kallistos.

man i rreally hate taking these tests and their curves :x

the curve is generally around 45 points…or maximum 44…i don thnk there has ever been an 800 below that

yes there has
-7 is a 800 from many previous administered tests

The embargo has been lifted. What did everyone get for number 50 and also the one about the non real roots?

nonroots i got nonpositive

greatest common divisor - 72
parabola opens up - a>0
Sets A and B- standard deviation doesn’t change
number of points per question on test 2 - 2
locus from two lines intersecting - two intersecting lines

For the one that was like sqrt ( - x^2)…was the answer when x = 0?

@NYEM
yeh thats what i got except i cudnt do 50…

i got mode dosnt change… if u add five to every number on set be, the difference between the highest and lowest numbers is the same on both lists… i got nonreal roots=2 because there must be three ruits (power of three) and there was only one real root (which was one)

I left 50 blank and had trouble with quite a few others, like…
The one about the cylinder’s radius and height being increased, was that E?
The one about a 10 unit long line being rotated around (0,6), was that none of the sets?
And… there was a weird one I think I might have misread, it asked about the x values where x^2 <4… or did they ask for the y values? Ugh I think it was y values… I probably got that one wrong :[
AND… the one about the x-y-z plane, how many perpendicular lines can be drawn through a point on another line.
Anyone know the answers to these?

the ones i am not sure if i got right: r= “-q” … list contains only “0” for the set of answers… and a diff question that only has “-1” as a real root.

locus from two lines intersecting - two intersecting lines
isn’t it two perpendicular lines?

more answwers… a=2 (one that makes the equation have no answers)… cylnadir was easy… just make up dimentions for the smaller cylander and manipulate them to get the bigger cylander and then solve

The one about the 10 unit long line was [-8,8] I think. Actually, if it was square brackets, that was it and if it was circle brackets, then it wasn’t. I can’t remember AT ALL. The x^2 < 4 was (0, 2) or something like that.

The XYZ plane perpendicular line was infinitely many. It’s because you can have 1 line, and another line at a 90 degree angle to it to make it perpendicular; but since it’s also a Z plane, that line can be rotated around an infinite amount of times.
