730! Almost all my WH knowledge came from reading Barron’s for two weeks, and common sense! lol

What books worked well for this test? Barrons? PR?

I just read through Kaplan’s twice, did the two practice tests, and did very well indeed on the real thing, so maybe that?

730 too! I thought I did so bad! PR AP book = best friend. Got a 5 on the AP too.

So, um, sending this + 610 in Spanish? not sure.

750!
Whewww what a relief.

So Kaplans is sufficient for 800? Did you have an extensive WH background b4?

Well, I had a year of world history in sophomore year. Not AP, not honors, just plain WH. I’d be a senior this year (graduated early), so it’s been a while, but reading through Kaplan’s, which I think is pretty comprehensive, refreshed my memory enough, apparently. I don’t know how good other books are; I chose Kaplan’s on a friend’s recommendation.

My son used the Princeton Review World History/U.S. History book (both subjects in one book). Over Thanksgiving break, he read through most of the World part, and skimmed the rest of the World part. He did all the practice problems and took one of the practice tests. He also took AP World History in sophomore year, fall semester, and the AP test in the spring of sophomore year. He’s a junior now.

He got an 800 on the Dec 5 test.

My son really prefers the Princeton Review books. Thinks they’re more relevant.
