I felt like English was pretty normal.. Unfortunately, I missed 2-3 :(

Math was pretty normal. I think I aced it.

Reading.. Eh. It wasn't terrible, but I think it was a bit harder than normal.

Science was fairly easy, but I probably didn't do as good as I wanted to..

My predicted curves:

English will go down by 1s.
Math will go down by 1s.

Reading (HOPEFULLY) is a -1 36 Curve. And then everything goes down by 1 after that.
Science (HOPEFULLY) just goes down by 1s.

Math: Some tricky questions…I missed 1, wasn’t too bad.
Reading: : ( I thought was hard
Science: easy
English: Normal

This was a very popular test, since it’s one of the last for colleges. Does that help or hurt the curve?

i agree with wongtongtong (hahah). all sections, except for reading, were fairly easy. expect a harsh curve guys :(

I don’t remember the last time on the reading section a -1 was a 36. Maybe 3 years ago?

English: Normal curve. So -1 for every wrong answer. Might have +1 for 34 scale score.
So something like this:
36: -0
35: -1
34: -2-3
33: -4
…

M: Normal curve.

S: possibly harsh. -1 will be a 34 or could be 35 but then -2 will be a 33.
So somehting like ths:
35: -1
33: -2
32: -3
30: -4

R: Medium to generous curve. Something like this:
35: -1
34: -2-3
33: -4
32: -5
31: -6
30: -7-8
…and then normal curve afterwards

I hope the reading curve is more generous than any others, I thought the science and math were decent, english wasn’t too bad either.

Yalefanboy has it pretty much the same way I would.

Somebody didn’t fill in 3 science questions and got a 34? That’s nice to hear.

If anyone can do anything with my scores and subscores here they are

and someone bubbled the last 7 and got a 30

That makes me feel really dumb since i got a 27 on this science. Oh well, I got a 34 since then.

Here’s a nice quote
“English: Normal Cruve
Math: -1=36 Curve
Reading: REALL nice curve, thought I missed 5-6, but got a 32
Science: REALLY HARSH I felt the best about this and got a 28, down 3 points from the first test”

So say i missed 2 on math, 1 on reading, 1 on science.

Any shot for a 36?

stupid mistakes can go to hell.

Science will probabaly be 34 with -1 (judging from previous curve on October 2009)
Math= 34
Reading= 36/35?

So, no.

Wasn’t the math section different on this one than the October one, while the other sections were the same?

Personally, I thought that the English section was pretty standard, if not easier than other sections. Math was easier in my opinion. Reading was, unfortunately, quite a challenge; I hope that they’ll give us a nice curve for that. Science also seemed fairly standard, it was definitely easier than the September science test that I did. (The four students passage was perhaps the easiest conflicting passage that I’ve ever seen. At least, for me it was, mainly because there was one main point to each paragraph that answered pretty much every question.)

I’m predicting:
English- Normal (-1= 35, -2= 34, etc.)
Math- Normal (-1= 35, -2= 34, etc.)
Reading- Harsh (-1= 34, -2= 33, etc.)
Science- Generous (-1= 36, -2= 35, etc.)

Is reading really that harsh? Shouldn’t it be at least -1 = 35, if not 36? A lot of people here thought it was pretty hard.

why??? it was brutal.

science and english were extremely easy btw
