December 2010 ACT Scores

^ Thanks! Math was a pleasant surprise for me this time around. I think you get a real confidence boost from having taken the test previously.

^What was your writing score?

@25Squared: Great job! Mind sharing your location (city or state)?

^^ are you serious??! i am sure all of us will be running to get our mail now. ;p

I didn’t take writing; should have, though. Southern Colorado - and a big group took the test that day at my center. I dug up [this thread](<a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/act-preparation/623696-december-act-score-came-mail-today.html"]this”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/act-preparation/623696-december-act-score-came-mail-today.html) from '08 - looks like a similar situation. I just wonder why mine aren’t up online yet.

^ You got them early because you didn’t take Writing. Same thing happened for the September ACT: several people who didn’t take Writing got their scores in the mail a few days before scores were first posted online.

Yep, just checked the mail (didn’t take the writing) I got my scores

Composite: 28
English: 28
Math: 27
Reading: 29
Science: 26

reading is kind of a big *** for me, improved from a 21 in September, I’m definitely taking it again in February.

So, in conclusion, the people who took ACT no writing get their scores earlier than ACT w/ writing?

Xant, grats on the +8 on reading. Pretty impressive, homie.

My score is not online yet. I took writing.

sounds like the people who took this test were smarter this time around… my friend got a 23 and was in 50th percentile?

^Maybe in his state. Not nationally though.

Has anyone’s testing status changed to “tested” yet? Mine still says “registered”…

My cousin got his in the mail and he had no writing so I’m guessing it’s just the no writing people right? Anyways his scores were: English 36 Math 36 Reading 34 and Science 35 COMPOSITE: 35.25. He was kinda ****ed that he was 1 pt away from being rounded to a 36 but imo thats good enough haha now I’m really really worried about mine. Did anyone else get their scores back already?

My status changed to “tested” about two days ago. Still awaiting the 27th (supposed dates for first batch of scores to be posted online).

golden, most schools require writing so wouldn’t his scores essentially be useless anyway?

^That’s what I was thinking…

-1 was 35 on science for people that were worried

^ How do you know?
