December 2010 Sat CR (Journalists)

Is C something about reassuring?

yep - the other one’s were either too harsh or to technical.
it was in a tone similar to, “it’s okay, you still have friends here! :DDD”

yeah c was reassuring, um i didn’t get eclipsed what was the question?
archecture something like snobbish cuz the built to impress

I think reassure is correct. No one knows the SC about someone’s experiment being so clever and _____ and contributed to Nobel?

“chieng-shung wu’s experiments were clever, almost INGENIOUS”?

snoopi thats what i got as well

Okay I got it wrong :frowning: and the on in architecture: these sentences are the first time the author ______? I remember implicitly is one of the choices.

what were the other choices?

i remember that question, can’t remember answers though. i think it was a address readers

^explicitly includes the reader? or something to that extent. “while many of us may not have media access…”

was an answer for the seva passage “provides colorful anecdotes…”? regarding the common problems or whatnot that seva also addresses.

i picked implicitly for the architecture question

yeah i don’t remember
i think i screwed up the cr…

yupp ok so one wrong in cr so far,

snoopi, is the answer like provide examples to illustrate previous statement?

@snoppi was an answer for the seva passage “provides colorful anecdotes…”? regarding the common problems or whatnot that seva also addresses.
No i had examples i think… it was def NOT anecdotes, which are personal stories

yup it was examples to back up previous statement

^darn. i knew anecdotes were supposed to be STORIES, but the “colorful” part really fit - “how to tie a silk shavi, where to go when you need to refill your lemons (or something), etc. etc.”
all the other choices seemed too cold and did not address the colorfulness of the examples.
:(

The architecture section was the hardest CR that I’ve ever seen. Seriously, it made no sense.

so i didn’t get the cold war passage… someone please tell me that architecture was the dummy?
