I picked satire…topsy-turvy (w.tf to the second word) and nostalgic…ambitious (for the athlete). I don’t remember empirical.

Just adding on to what passages I had…

I remember:
Boxing
Architecture (***)
Milky Way or something
Journalism
the askseva one (pretty hard imo)

I dont NOT remmeber the cold war one at all… i dont htink I had it.

im pretty certain empirical was an option, but wasn’t right

I chose SATIRE as well, because the second part of hte sentence I thought was a dead giveaway, I wasnt sure though b/c topsy-turvy made no sense to me.

I had nostalgic in there somewhere as well…

the hesienberg was experimental
@314159265
i picked manifest
there was only one objective/objectable answer so we’re right either way

also what was the eclipsed question

No, (B) was entrenched, (D) and (E) were objective and objectionable (I don’t remember order) and the other 2 choices were really damn wrong (I think one was innovative).

Sentence Completions Compilation:

Prominent

Ingenious - clever and almost

Fluctuation

Ubiquitous

Eclipsed

Disputable

Foster

Pigment (can anyone confirm)

Rancorous - a person’s tone

Enigmatic - Konigsburg novel

Satire - a topsy turvey world

Nostalgic - for past and ambitious for future

314159265, i put rancorous too.

ugh, i already got 4 wrong aldkjfkld
ahahaha you guys know i’m going to be checking this obsessively until the 21st, right?

^Quick question: is this for both CR forms? I don’t recognize some of the answers.

i never got eclipsed. different forms? I don’t think i got many cr wrong (aside from the konigsburg novel) and i don’t recognize a few

are you SURE? i chose the only object- starting word, i chose objectionable btw… i remember now… i don’t remember seeing objective… was it a synomym?

Does anyone know where I can find the source for the Journalism passage 2 article? It was the one AGAINST New Media

I’m 100% positive. I remember taking out A and C first. Then I took out B (entrenched) since New Media was, well, new. I then decided that objective wasn’t right b/c Passage 2’s author just *****es on and on about how New Media doesn’t follow rules and blah blah blah. Objectionable was the only one that fit; Passage 1 admitted that Big Media was bad and Passage 2 just really f—ing hates New Media.

that answer was not entenched… the answer was both viewed the new media/ big media as objectionable

i think a bunch of those vocabs are wrong

I agree completely.

did any1 remember putting “development” for an answer? it was for the science passage

and also “hopeful eagerness” and “intelectual adventureness” for the scientific passage as well

alright
let’s see. I remember most of the architecture.
-the writer and prince both viewed modernistic architecture as tasteless (something like that)
-the writer included the reader for the first time in paragraph 2 or something
-in paragraph 3, he never gave a solution to the problem of ugly office buildings
-modernist building would look best in an electronic area/industrial city
-modernism moved from egalitarianism to snobbish
-companies create tv shows to appear cultured
anything else?

and i got those, hacker
and also development. i thought the science passage was pretty easy

ready4college90 - which SCs do you think are right and which do you think are wrong? They had a number of different experimental sections.
