December 2010 SAT Math

I don’t mean to get any sympathy or anything, but i wished i had made ONE dumb mistake instead of TWO…

-1=770
-2=750?

What do you guys think - is this possible?

Yes it’s definitely possible.

Alright sweet. I think i’ll be ok with a 750 if I do ok on my other sections

As if a 750 isn’t ok LOL, seriously don’t beat yourself up too much, it won’t do you any good.

16 (prime number factor; choice D)

can sb type the original question?

Can someone give me exact question of grid in 3/8?

Jesus how am I going to make it 16 days? How do u guys help yourself wait?

yeah this wait is killing me… i can’t even concentrate on studying for finals

For prism question, does anyone remember if it asked for one possible value or least possible value?

because i had 55 x 2 x 60 = 6600 and the answer u guys got is 1320 (10 x 12 x 11)

I think it was something like:

Find b so that the greatest prime factorization of 6b is 3.
I think some of the other answer choices were 10 and 7 but I forgot the rest.

um…
I think i chose E.

Hey everyone, for the 4x+3y=40 grid in, is it okay if i wrote in 5.71 instead of 40/7?

^yes it’s fine.

i’m mad at myself because i made 3 stupid mistakes. if it weren’t for those 3 mistakes, i think it would have still been possible for me to get a 700.

slope of the line is 0. and i put -2, because i didn’t read the question carefully…

it’s 1999. not 1500. i failed to realize that y had to be a bigger number too.

the one where they gave you two equations, f(x) and g(x) and you had to find a. stupid math mistake and i got 5…

i probably got the same score as last time, if i’m lucky.

ah, i concede that it is in fact 72 and not 36. -1 it is then… I wish the math curve was not so unforgiving.

for that quesiton about da biographies and books or w/e the answer is 72 bc the question gave a specific order, it strictly said first bio and then some other book. Therefore its a permutation, a counting problem in which order matters. If order didnt matter then u would have to divide by 2. in this case u dont have to. so the answer is 72

the anyone get a Question that asked u about two points on a number line, the points were g and h and it was a number 19 Q

It asked for any possible value of the prism in cubic inches so 6600 is also correct.
As is 22,24,5 = 2640.

how come i don’t remember a prism question?

the anyone get a Question that asked u about two points on a number line, the points were g and h and it was a number 19 Q

Hey, was the potato consumption problem ever resolved? I think it was #20 of the first math section. I scanned the first few pages of this thread and it seems that there was some disagreement. I put 1/4 because you pretty much do (18-13)/(2002-1980). Anyone agree/disagree?
