This test was a little weird...there were some concepts that I had never encountered, like the Chisholm Trail.
What did you think?

I agree. I had never seen the Chisholm Trail until today

I think the answer to that one was cattle…I guessed ore. :/

Yeah the Chisholm trail was used to heard cattle.

Did anyone think this was MUCH easier than the AP Exam?

And what did you guys get for the “lost generation” question? I put down Hemingway because he talked about the Lost Generation in his books.

And the first picture, what is "New Immigrants who had a positive outlook about WWII?

For the second picture(s) I got Fighting for voting rights for Black Veterans, and the Radical Republicans were the ones fighting for it.

^^
- The lost generation question was hemmingway.
- For the first picture, I thought that it was to raise money because the picture had liberty bonds.
- Yes-- Fighting for black veteran rights and radical republicans.

Did anyone get the question about the difference between republicans and democrats in the 1850s? The two most probable were: Republicans wanted to bar the spread of slavery while democrats were divided, and Republicans were supported by immigrants. The issues here were that I didn’t think that the democrats were divided and the support of immigrants was not “the fundamental difference” between the two parties. Did anyone get it?

I put down “Republicans were supported by immigrants”, but I think it’s the other one since there wasn’t a lot of immigration until Post Civil War Era. What did you get for the AFL/CIS question? I put the CIS included everyone.

I think that’s correct. I skipped it because I wasn’t sure. I ended up skipping 8 or 9, but I don’t think that I got many wrong (fingers crossed). I’m hoping for a 780+

That’s about how many I missed.
Sparknotes says -8 is a 800, which seems about right.

Ugh Hemmingway is the lost generation. I put Jack Kerouac because I for some reason thought it said Beat Generation. I’m such a…ughhhh. face palm

Overall it was definitely easier than the AP exam. I did not study for this at all and I took APUSH last year, so I relied on my prior knowledge. I was surprised by how much I remembered and I think a 700+ is definitely plausible.

from the practice books that I have, an 800 seems to be in the -8 to -13 range, so the curve is pretty generous.

I took a practice test that had that same question about the chisolm trail, so i new that one.

did you feel like this one was hard? it was surprisingly easy for me actually

I thought it was a lot easier than the practice tests I did, and much easier than the AP Exam in May 2013. Although I did miss the Zimmerman Telegram question because I was thinking of Lusitanne for some odd reason.

I took APUSH last year and did no prep. This felt incredibly easy.
