The waiting is getting frustrating considering many have got their scores.

@xdandrea I brought my English score up from a 24 to a 30 with the Kaplan prep book and some practice tests

Yea. I’ve been in contact with ACT. Only 10% (lucky guys) of the scores were available today. There will not be an upload of scores today. Tests scored today and tomorrow will be available for viewing on Thursday (last upload this week). Next week scores will be available again on Tuesday and Thursday. Your status will only change to tested following the upload of your scores, so be sure to check back on Wednesday night. I’m in the same boat. I want my scores so bad.

College Board is much better as far as scores are concerned :/

Oh, I also forgot to add. Tests are scanned as they arrive. Not by alphabetical order in any way.

Wow, I got one of the better scores on this test. O.O and I got worse than I thought for Math and Science. Seeing what you all got, I’m a bit curious as to how I got a 33 in reading. At least I don’t have to retake

@GodsGem322
Do u think a 27 is good for a junior (above/at 26 in each section)?

does anyone have a condensed approximation for the curves of those who have not yet received their scores?

@16jpatel 27 is a good starting spot. After some studying that will definitely go up.

So, has anyone seen their essay score yet?

Ok thanks should I get the Barrons act 36? Because I have use up all of the red book. @Heyhaykay

Aw man so now I gotta wait for Wednesday/Thursday. ACT you let me down.

I got a 28 compared to my 27 last time.

E: 32 (+6) how…?
M: 26 (-2) WTF?
R: 30 (+2)
S: 24 (-2) lol…

If anyone wants to know how I increased my English score by 6 points, I literally just studied semi colon rules. Also remember, on the ACT, simplicity is always the best.

@16jpatel I haven’t used the 36 book. The red book brought me from a 27 in September to a 30 this time though. What really helped me was taking a quick ACT prep course.

@16jpatel Yes, totally! A 27 is great for a Junior! If you have access to a library, get the books that you can. Barron’s 36 is good but I’d hit Princeton Review as well. Go over your weak spots, take a practice test, and work on your weakest spots. Before the next test, take a practice test again and brush up on anything rusty.

I think -2 E was 34. I didn’t get many wrong. At most, -3 was 34. Reading I’m leaning towards a -3 was 33. Not sure about Math or Science

Is a 30 good for your 2nd try as a junior?

Guys shut up about “oh is this a good score?” A good score is one that you get when you study your ass off and try your hardest. That’s a good score. Could be a 36, could be a 26. We are all different

@fahi12 I have a friend who applied to nyu. What’s usually their minimum act score requirement–if they have one?

Is a 29 a good score?
