Hi! What did you guys think?

I think worst case, for me is that I miss 6 or 7 iffy questions and the three I omitted. How did you guys feel?

Hi! What did you guys think?

I think worst case, for me is that I miss 6 or 7 iffy questions and the three I omitted. How did you guys feel?

It was ok, can’t really feel if it was good or bad… i attempted most questions, but i feel like there may be some wrong ones Hopefully it isn’t a horrible score

Did you think it was harder than usual? I got tripped up on a couple.

Did you find any particular questions tricky? Or any concepts that you think you could’ve studied more?

@hendersonHYPS I took the Nov one as well, and i have to say this one was much easier in comparison. I think it’s just that my stoichiometry is the worst in Chem overall, so that’s what i personally struggle with, i guess it’s different for every person.

@cedartreee how was the curve in november? I think there was a few questions that were meant to be unfairly tricky. What was your stoichiometry question?

@hendersonHYPS It was pretty similar to the usual curves, but I have a few friends who are usually amazing at Chemistry in school that agreed that the questions were really difficult. I think it was something to do with Molarity and volume and dilution… a bit fuzzy
I only got a 690 last time if you were wondering :S

Yeah, we can discuss specifics later. Let us wait until 8:30 PST.

@cedartreee How many do you think someone could miss to get above a 750? Do you think 5-6 wrong and 3 omitt could get above that threshold?

@hendersonHYPS According to the conversion ‘formula’ that would be (85-9)-(6*0.25)= 74.5=75, that should be around 780. If the curve isn’t harsh, 78 or 78+ would be 800

^that curve is prob too lenient for this test. I would say the curve is more like -3

@cedartreee that seems fair. I cannot believe I missed some really stupid questions. I feel terrible knowing that I missed simple questions. Also, did you notice more than normal T,T,CE?

@AopsMaster804 Did you think this test was easier than normal? Did you have dificulty with any question?

@AopsMaster804 the princeton review book says
85-79–>(800)
78 --> 790
78-73 --> 780
72-71 --> 770
70-69 --> 750

Do you disagree with this?

@hendersonHYPS yeah! i was kind of skeptical of my answers.

@cedartreee Exactly! I think I got like 3 or 4 T,T,CE, and it was really confusing me. The question about the diatomic gasses (even though it was easy) also had me confused for a bit.

I also used PR, which contained slightly harder tests. Yes I think this was easier than normal, so the curve will be more harsh. I still struggled with relationship analysis questions unfortunately

@AopsMaster804 I used PR as well (although it was the 2013-2014 version). I got tripped on a few relationship analysis question. Did you understand what they were asking about the Ca orbital?

Can’t remember that one, sorry

@hendersonHYPS i remember that question and I put T,T,CE for it…what did you put?
