***December 2014 - Math Level 2***

Created this thread so we can all help each other out and see what went wrong or right! :)
How did you all do?

Left like 7 or 8 questions because I ran out of time. But I’m pretty sure about the rest I attempted. Hoping for 750+

@SameerHussain‌ Yeah you should be able to, my friend took the Math 2 in November 2013 and he left 7 or so blank and got a 770 :slight_smile: best of luck!

I omitted 1, and I know I got 1 wrong by accident, so angry at myself! Don’t know if I made any other mistakes, hope i didn’t :stuck_out_tongue: Also does anyone know when we can talk about the questions, or are we not allowed to at all?

Oh just realized we can’t talk about the questions, so let’s just discuss how we thought it went :)

We can’t ? Everyone discusses Subject Test questions on College Confidential, using google docs.

@SameerHussain‌ I’m not sure either :S saw this post by one of the mods: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-act-tests-test-preparation/642156-defy-the-college-boards-rules-at-your-own-risk.html#latest

did anyone took the normal SAT today?

I got 2 wrong and omitted 2 of the questions. Since we can calculate our scores with:

of questions right - (#of questions wrong [excluding the numbers omitted] x 0.25) = raw score

if raw score is greater than or equal to 44, then your score is 800.
if raw score is less than 44, then 800 - 10 (44 - raw score) is you score.
My raw score is 46 so my score is 800.
Calculate your scores!

@barefooted02‌ omg i think might actually have a chance at 800, fingers crossed. :stuck_out_tongue: BTW do you think it’d be possible for the raw score conversion harsher since the test seems less difficult, or is it the same?

@cedartreee‌ The curve might change a bit, although it is unusual, but even if it does, the difference will be small. The score conversion that I posted is the average, and it pretty accurate.

What did you get for the cheese question with the roman numerals? (Exponential equation) I got I and II.
What about the last one with the cosine curve?

@TheGreatCatsbyx‌ The cheese question is I and II since III contradicts I
and the cosine curve answer is January of every odd number year.

for the probability of at least two things not working, did you get the first one (A) 0.9997 something?

@TheGreatCatsbyx‌ Yup.

I don’t remember but it was the probability one with 1,2,3,4 and 2 and always followed 3 or something like that. Was the answer 6? (I don’t remember if it specified 2 ALWAYS followed 3 or they always had to be together, in that case it would have been 12)

@TheGreatCatsbyx‌ 6.

EDIT: I said nothing.

Were any of the answers for the last 5 questions C?

@barefooted02‌ @thegreatcatsby‌x i think there are still people who haven’t taken the test yet (west coast)… :o

Should we wait until it’s ~8:30 at the west coast before we further discuss?? @iconicsoul @cornell132
