******December 2015 ACT Discussion Thread******

How hard was the October ACT? Did anyone think that Oct ACT was harder than the Sept ACT?

If I decide later on to take the test, like after the registration deadline, I understand I have to pay a late fee but will my fee waiver still cover the cost of the actual test?

Yes you can @letmeseetheworld

If you register online, and register during the late period or request any additional services, you must enter a credit card to pay those fees before submitting your registration.

So how is everyone preparing?
And does anyone know how difficult were the Sept and Oct ACT and was a new format used in the paper except the essay.

Anybody taking it in December because I need a study buddy!! Maybe, we can help each other each other out. Pm me or comment if you are interested?

Any seniors out there taking it?

Senior taking it! Just got October scores…32. Really going for the 33+…

First time by the way

Last Attempt. Last Shot. Full Barrel xD

I need some advice!
I just took the ACT in October and want to retake it. Should I take it in February to get a longer time to study (even though it’s right after finals and I’ll probably be dead?) or December where I only have a month to study but little going on?

@SugarSmarts Why not take both? lol

@Sddsy63 haha, probably will end up doing just that!

I can not believe that I have to retake this stupid test. Last time I got a 33, but my math score was ridiculously low (29) I got an A in AP Calculus AB and a 5 on the exam. Math is my best subject. I got a 35 on the math section last school year! I do not know what happened on the September test. I MUST RETAKE IT!!! A 29 in math is not acceptable.

I am hoping to get a 34 C this time by not screwing the math section up. I will be taking the SAT Math Level 2 on December 5 as well.

@ilikebreakingbad lol, I feel you. The math section in the recent months have been pain in the butt. Not really sure why but ACT has been gradually making the test harder

ACT Math changes include more stats, probability, stem and leaf charts and slightly more complex trig questions.

Use tests after Dec 2014 to get a feel for the current test.

@HereToHelpYou I have 2-3 tests after Dec 2014. Do you have more?

Does anyone know any good links where I can get access to the new, harder ACT tests (like the ones after April 2015)

ZainSD here is link for the 2015-2016 ACT released test: http://www.act.org/aap/pdf/Preparing-for-the-ACT.pdf

@Deuce781 Try CrackedACT. Many kids have found tests on the site.

Thanks for the spam.
