@bsdsj22
For the Ria passage, Is it reluctantly realistic or confidently principled?
The line ‘then they are free’ is a pivotal transition?
building relationship is for last qn that asks about the main idea?

But why is Danny’s tone playful? There was a word “despair” following the sentence ( what chance do i have against a teacher)

@bkmaester

29 was about the sharks "similarity" "compared to"

There was no tense error in that one I believe.

@Suly99

28 had a subject-verb disagreement and #29 is controversial, but many people got "compared to" as the error.

Anyone pls help me
number 28 is “compared to” or no error?
familiar “with” or “to”
and in the improving paragraph: “but others criticize” or “However, other critics say”
Thank you very much
The possible radius are 7,17,22
@Omaryamout because the sphere has 10 radius and 2 circles has 5 radius so these circle can intersect at 0,1 or 2 points

@Omaryamout

Since the circumference of the sphere is 20pi (radius is 10) and the radius of each circle is only 6, that means the total combined diameters of the two circles is 24. 20pi is over 60. You could basically place the circles anywhere on the sphere and get intersections of 0, 1, or 2 points.

@thewindisblowing

do you remember putting in the time passage:

purpose of passage: reconcile and inconsistency
Author implies: mutually contradictory

pls reply

@bsdsj22 you are refering to question no 28, i am certain

@xi56du

He was being sarcastic because it’s a game. If you wanted to play a game and you were going up against someone who would probably beat you at it, you wouldn’t overtly be disconsolate about it. You’d probably be sarcastic about it.

“There’s no way I could beat a teacher.”

Remember also that the passage is from the point of view of Ria.

@bkmaester

What was 29 about then? Anyone remember the last problem finding errors in the writing section?

@bkmaester @bsdsj22 #28 is about “compared to” and #29 has something about “associated with”
@Suly99 the purpose: I chose “inconsistency”
And I don’t remember about the author imply question, can you tell me more about it?
Guys, what did you choose in the “then they are free” question?

@xi56du , also disconsolate and somber have pretty much the same meaning, so you can eliminate them

@thewindisblowing

What were the other answer choices for the purpose question?

If anybody could remember the sentence for #29

@bsdsj22 @thewindisblowing the question starts with the word Today, and a past tense is plugged somewhere, kinda tricky to notice

@bkmaester

I actually remember that. I caught that error, yep. Today was inconsistent with something that was in the past. I think it was “were” when it should have been “are”

Did you get “compared to” or no error

@bsdsj22 purpose question: incosistency; suggest that science cannot explain reality; and reconcile science and reality. I can only remember 3 choices
the last part of #29 is"the Banjo, which is not associated with…"

@bsdsj22 yeah i said compared to

Good news -1 on M is an 800, and sad news -2 on cr is a 790

@thewindisblowing

I chose metahpor.
Don’t you remember an answer with reconcile? Because that’s what I chose

Can anyone with knowledge of the US November 2015 Curve predict my scores?

Math: -2 or -3
Reading: 2 Omit, 10 to 12 errors
Writing: 8 Essay, 5 errors

If the score is remarkably lower than 2010 (October score) I will cancel.

what is the ‘compared to’ qn? someone still remembers the qn?

@thewindisblowing

Was it the inconsistency between the theoretical and the perceptive? I think I chose that.
