December 22 Test??

Hi.
So for seniors who are taking the ACT on the 10th, what's the point of taking it if the important deadlines for colleges are Jan 1st? To make matters worse, if someone is an international student (like me) and is ALSO taking the writing, what's the possibility of getting the scores before the deadline??? I really don't know if I should take the test again or not. Is there a way for me to get the scores before January?

Thanks

Usually schools will accept scores after the deadline if you list them as one of the four free score reports before you test. Each school will say on its website which date is the last test it will accept (usually it is December).

I have the same problem as you do OP.
@nina1228: Would colleges accept Dec. scores even if I did not send it to them before I took the test? I was thinking that if I get a better ACT score than my SAT one, then I’ll send it. If not, I won’t bother sending my ACT score. The problem is that I don’t know if I can still send in my score after it comes out…(February is the latest)
