@ spazattack
^ I think it was B too.

i got 16 for the quarter one and i was pretty confident i thought? maybe im wrong

It's 21 for the quarter one. I'm 100% sure.

how did you do the quarter one? i know it was a simple problem but for some reason i just couldn't figure it out.

Ugh. What did I do then? i thought I got the right answer...bye 36 on math...

I just plugged amd chugged, starting with 26. That was like 9 something so 21 was the answer fo sho

Thats what I did too. Maybe I did put 21, and i was thinking of 26? idk

So far:

10 pennies, 20 nickels,
19 dimes, 21 quarters.
Slope -3/4
-2xy
cos 4/5
Not ... -> not ...

Wooo!

I guessed on -3/4 and 21 and got them both right according to some folks here.

60 was -2xy

Inequality trapezoid i chose B
Arithmetic sequence one (depositing money) was 6660. I used the summation formula.
Cake and aluminum(first question) i got 128

^agree??

what can i expect with -2 in math?

what about -3?

The cake and aluminum was not the first question for me.... but it was 88.
And the arithmetric seq is 6660

The cake and aluminum was 128 I believe.

First u get teh equations

Q=N+1
N=2P
N=D+1

so plug in numbers to get 8.25

21 quarters, 20 Nickels, 10 Pennies, 19 Dimes.

5.25+1+0.10+1.9=8.25

i think its -2xy+2y^2

For the cake one it asked for the area that wasn't exposed to the cake. the dimensions of the cake was 3(h)x16(l)x12(w) and it said the card board extended 2 inches all around so the dimensions of that were 3x20x16

I did 20x16 - 16x12=128

Nope. 100% sure it's -2xy and 128.

would people clarify if the triangle Q was -1/2 or -3/4. This could determine whether or not i send my scores. (if i send my scores the day they come out, do you think colleges w/ Dec ACT deadline will accept them?)

thanks

The general consensus say that it's -3/4

@spaz for #60 f(a,b)= b^2-a

What was f(x^2+y^2, x-y)= x^2-2xy+y^2 - (x^2+y^2) = -2xy

i think

the last one was (x-y)(x-y) - (x^2-y^2)

simplify and its -2xy+2y^2
