I am taking the ACT in December but I am worrying that my score will not come in time before deadlines for certain colleges. I did not do well on the SAT but I am very prepared to get a 30+ on the ACT.

On actstudent dot org, it says
December 10, 2011 (Multiple Choice Scores first posted online) -> December 27, 2011 February 3, 2012

What sucks even more is that I'm taking the Writing Section which, on the website, says that the Writing Section scores come 2 weeks after the MC comes.

HELP ME PLEASE!
1. How do I put the score on my application?
2. Please tell me what I have to do to get my scores to colleges before deadlines
3. ANY ADVICE PLEASE!!

You don’t need to put the scores on your appiication really since they have to confirm it against the real paperwork from the ACT. Call the school and explain the timing of everything and ask if they accept scores that come in after there deadline.

Also, check with the ACT. The collegeboard will rush ship your scores for $30 extra and perhaps the ACT does the same.

You enter it on the Common App as “pending” with the test date. You have ACT send the scores to the schools you are applying to. I would not spend extra money on rushing the scores. The deadline is for submission of your application/any supplement.

Make sure the schools you are applying to accept scores from December. I’ve seen a few that require them to be taken by November, but those are usually early decision or early action.
