If I want to see my scores before I send them, will the December ACT be too late for regular decision to most schools? I don't know if I should take October, because I'll only have 2 weeks to study after the SAT IIs.

Different colleges have different deadlines for the scores for standardized tests. Generally speaking, the latest test dates for RD is usually January but since ACT isn’t offered in January I would assume it’s December. Visit the colleges’ website and look under the admission section to see what they recommend.

December should be fine. When in doubt, contact the college.

But will I be able to see my scores before I send them if I take the December date?

bump. answer this question: if i take the december act, will i be able to see my scores before i send them? i already know it’s enough time.

You should see your scores online about 15 days after the test. Then you can decide if you want to have them sent the regular way or pay extra to have them expeditied. Look at [ACT, Inc. : A Student Site for ACT Test Takers](http://www.actstudent.org) for the details on sending scores.
