I kinda thought so too :P

no 5 wrong is 800 (44 raw)

this test wasn't easy per se, it was an average Math II Test, imo

I skipped 7 and guessed on about 5. I'm not confident at all in my scores, and I'm very sad because this was my last chance as well. My last score was 600 :*(

tough luck, hope for an easy curve...

MAth 2 did suck indeed....damnit my las chance....CURSES ETS!!

Honestly... I was in a room where the clock was broken and the stupid proctor wouldn't let me put my watch on the table.

r u guys sure abt the fact that the curve mite b more???? tht b kewl!!

v r nt sure.. v r hopin and prayin!!!

Lordy, I love that. Using v rather than typing we; 'tis brilliant.

I skipped 4. I didn't really guess, but I probably made some careless mistakes. :p

ok. i need advice. please. i skipped 22 questions. i'm looking at a net score of 25-28. ouch. really, really ouch. i know. reading you guys complain about skipping 3-5 questions makes my stomach sink/cringe. i'm only a junior so i can re-take the test, right? (that was my brain's logic as i was taking the test anyways...) i studied my heart out for the bio (and felt fine/relieved about it), and i think it would kill me if i had to cancel my scores. i knew that the math 2 had a generous curve, so i didn't focus on it very much (needless to say). would colleges look at my bad math score if i re-took it? i'm just worried that this bad test will haunt me forever/be a major skeleton in my closet. what kind of score am i looking at for my math? 500? 600? HELP

"i'm only a junior so i can re-take the test, right? "

You have plenty of time to study and be 100% prepared for it. Don't stress out over it. If you're taking Pre-cal, you should take the test in May or June, cause then you'll definately be much-better prepared. If you want to start preparing for now, use Barron's. It'll get you ahead of your pre-calc class and the studying won't take much of your time. If you took pre-calc already, Barrons is a good enough review/prep.

I had the worst test day possible. I couldn't sleep Friday night because I was anxious and when I eventually woke up in the morning I discovered that my alarm clock had not gone off. Subsequently, I had to rush out of the house at 6:45 a.m. since the testing center is 45 minutes away. I arrived early and unfortunately had to wait out in the freezing cold because my ride had to leave for work. Students began to gather around 7:45 a.m., but we were informed that there would be a delay. We did not enter the building until 8:30 a.m. and by that time my hands were frozen solid. Apparently, karma despises me, as I was assigned to a room in which all the chairs are annoyingly squeaky and tilt on one leg. I thought mine was going to liftoff. Finally, when all the students eventually arrived the teacher began to read out the SAT instructions. Halfway through his deliberation, I realized I needed to go to the bathroom. A girl asked if she could go and he remarked "no". My test was doomed to begin with. All I could think about during the test was waterfalls and sprinklers. Not to mention, I found answering the questions extremely difficult because my hands were shaking from the cold. Seemingly only after duration the teacher unexpectedly said "finished". I had eight more problems to solve and I had already skipped four! I swear only forty-five minutes at most had transpired. My judgment might not have been sound though, since I was slightly preoccupied with the possibility that I might just give the other twenty students in the class a waterworks show. So, I am definitely canceling my scores. Sorry, for the ranting.

The test wasn't that difficult, but definitely unorthodox. Especially, a particular function question with an array of variables.

Skipping 12 is a good score if you got most of the others right :)

I am confident all the ones I answered were correct (not to be arrogant), but either way twelve mistakes translates to a 670ish, which is too low.

If you left those 12 blank, then it counts as 3 wrong (12 * .25), so your raw score would be 38 - 3 = 35, which is 720, according to sparknotes.

Thanks, for that. I'm too paranoid though and I already have good scores in two subject tests, so I will still cancel. Hope you did well.

Actually I think this curve will be nicer, since so many people have been complaining it was tough.

someone help me with this: i only registered for one, i did two, rubbed off the answers to one, so technically ets doesnt know i've taken an extra test right?
