December Physics SAT2 Thread

Yeah, of course it can. Normally that would be a 730-740 I think.

basketball, i’ve already said that i chose the one with 2 bumps (full wavelength)

i chose 2ma and for the voltage one, i said that all of them had equal net force

OMG i think i got a 30 / 75 holy ****

hey guys, I’m thinking of taking the physics SAT. I’m currently taking AP physics B. Is it necessary to get books for both? If not, which one would be better to get, and what brand?

basketball, do you remember what the question (voltage/potential difference and the charges in different positions) was like?

i think i chose “force is the same for all the charges”…

and here is a link that explains why: [Charged Parallel Plates](http://www.regentsprep.org/Regents/physics/phys03/aparplate/)

correct me if im wrong! :)

but again, i think the test was pretty challenging overall…
i hope the curve is lenient!

@laure327: yup…I agree with u…that’s parallel plates…so F= E

Hi, guys!
I have some questions regarding the December Physics, but I’m not sure about the details.
I can just remember part of the terms of the questions.
(a)What is the curve for an object with speed v opposing by a force from the opposite direction to its motion?

(b)Something about the Kinetic Energy-time graph. What is constant or not constant?
I’m not sure about the details at all as I can’t remember.

(c)Something like a block slide downward an inclined plane. I don’t know what is the question.
Someone remember?

I’m asking this question based on what I can remember.
If you can’t, don’t get annoyed by me :P

fantasticguy,

a) can u elaborate on this? i can’t quite remember
b) i chose non-constant one, something like: 1, 4, 9, 16…
c) can u elaborate on this one too?

(a)This is in the first few question sets. There are 5 graphs and we need to choose which graph is suitable for the conditions described.

(b)What is the question? What is 1,4,9,16?

(c)There is a picture. In this picture there is a block sliding downward an inclined plane.

I’m really sorry as I can’t remember will

at fantasticguy. I chose the numbers for the velocity with an opposing force to be the set that started with like 24 or something and ended with 0

THe KE questions, i chose interval A for one of the answers and interval D for the one that stayed constant bc this was the only one where the velocity stayed constant

Sorry i don’t remember a block sliding down an incline. Can you be more specific. What was it asking for?

For basketball1:
I can’t remember the question already. My memory is bad.

Thank you to all the persons who answer my questions even though my questions do not seem like questions :P

do you guys remember the question about a satellite orbiting the earth and finding out what stays constant?

is the path elliptical or circular?

Hi, laure327.
If I’m not mistaken, then answer is angular momentum.
Please forgive me if I’m wrong as my memory is bad.

that’s what i said too, but i think its wrong…
