December SAT math curve too high ?

It looks like everyone got a lower score than they expected in MATH ? Was the curve too high ?

The curve for my test wasnt.

-1 was a 780. That’s a slightly more generous curve than average, which would be a 770

I had the same test as you Oscarlany. -1=780

weird, what I believe was 3 wrong got a 750

I believe I got 3 wrong so I got a 720

i got 780, higher than i expected because I left a grid in blank

I got an 800 in October in math but only got a 690 this time. I dont know *** happened. Will this be a red flag?

I think I missed like 4 and got a 680

The curve must have been brutal. It was probably worse than the October SAT curve

Well harsh curves only reflect the relative ease of the section in that particular test. Getting a 690 down from an 800 is probably due to careless mistakes.

Do u think elite colleges will consider this as a red flag. Math is my easiest class and my prospective major.

I got an 800, and I’m not even that good at math. The test was pretty easy so you probably just bubbled wrong or read questions wrong

I missed 4. Why do I have to take the SAT whenever the curves are harsh.

The math curve for my December SAT (Nature Hike, Egyptian Artist, etc.) was pretty harsh too. I ran out of time, omitted one, and got a 780. Normally that’s be a 790, no?

^ No. Omitting one and getting one wrong is the same thing.

I believe I missed 6 and got a 680… I dont know what I do wrong on the real SAT tests, I usually own the practice tests

Based on October, January, and May test dates, the current average math scale is: 800-780-760-740-720-710-690-680-670-660 …

On average, 1 wrong is 780.
