I’m a little confused. My essay score was extremely low, but I write 8s and 9s on my AP Language essays. I also bombed math to hell, I usually finished my math sections in about 10 minutes with no mistakes on my practice tests.

The two tests look for different things in the essays. SAT ones focus more on reasoning and are often more formulaic. AP essays need style, colorful allusions, etc.
730 M is definitely not “bombed.”

My physics score was really a wild card; it could have ranged anywhere from 700 to 800. I am fortunate that the curve is generous =D. Good luck to everyone who takes these, and for the college-bound seniors. TIME TO STUDY FOR JANUARY SATS!!!

Wow, awesome scores! I got CR: 750, M: 730, W: 760, overall 2240. Do you think I should retake it? I’m looking at HYP and that math score is bugging me. I didn’t study at all so if I take it again I should definitely improve. Thoughts?

my score went up 250 points this time to 2320(CR 800/M 770/W 750 essay 9). But I already sent my lower scores of 2070 and 2010 to several universities through questbridge. I didn’t study any more than I did in October (one night of reading review book) when I got 2070. I wonder if it looks weird though that my score improved so much and CR score went up 110 points. This was as shocking as when I got 5’s on all five of my AP exams!

I got an 1950 SAT score. 610-critical, 670-math, 670-writing (10 essay). I am an international with an 102 TOEFL score. Are there any schools that could offer me a full ride with this scores?

:( I hate CR! Will the schools excuse my CR scores if English is my 2nd language? (I mean I’m actually from other country…came here when I was 14)

CR 800 M 800 W 690
This was knda surprising actually considering I pretty much gave up on my December SATs
I even forgot my photo ID and had to drive all the way home to get it D:

Same here man my score dropped from 2100 to a 1990 but my superscore is 2130(M780 W700 CR 650) so which score should I send first one or both Applying to Cornell, NYU, Northwestern, Duke, Princeton. Advice is appreciated

i would say send just the 2100 and not the 1990. (Difference= 110points!) I dont think it’s worth showing both just for the additional 30. IMO, send just the 2100 (:

i feel like the dumbest person on the planet after reading all of you guys SAT scores…i got a 1720 wit absoluelty no studying!! i feel as tho i screwed my self/ future…omg im so dumb…breakdown: CR 560 M620 W 540 E 8 … ugghhh…im taking the subject tests in Jan im studyin this time for sure
