December SAT - too late?

In Stanford's website it says that test scores should be in before apps are reviewed; however, it also says that taking a test in mid December is ok. Should I send an emergency report or will my december SAT make it on time.
I've already taken the SAT and SATIIs before, so I'm not really worried, but I would like to get my december scores sent as well.

I think that if you've marked Stanford as a recepient of your scores, December scores will get there on time. I am not sure that rushing the scores makes it any faster (just more expensive).

You misunderstood me. I put Stanford as a recipient, however, Stanford says the scores have to be in before they start reviewing apps. Thus, I was wondering if my december SATs would be sent on time or if I should rush the scores I already have.

Call them and ask when they start reviewing? They'll help you decide what to do but I'm sure they won't recommend rush reports. I've never known a college to support those.

Why don't college's support rushed scores?

yea, ive always wondered what those [rushed reports] were for

Rushed reports good for the ETS - an easy way to make money. Colleges don't like them because they prefer to have all the scores to be reported together (they get a file with all the scores twice a month or so), instead of getting a million little private rushed reports. In the past Stanford had a date posted when was the last time you could take the SATs (and it was December). This year they have a new dean of admissions, so it might have changed. The safest way would be to call and ask the admissions office.

A regional Princeton admissions officer came to our school and said that the region colleges didn't need rushed reports was because they can opt to receive reports electronically now, which means no delay time for mail.
