I think that the SSATs are the only concrete thing we can use to compare to each other so we get hyped up over it. You certainly don’t need a 99th, otherwise Andovers average wouldn’t be 93rd. Happy New Year to you! Im spending New years eve writing essays, how depressing!

well, someone that goes to andover says most of the kids that had low SSAT scores and got in, either were really rich or had amazing hooks… this may be wrong, but its what i heard.

I don’t mean 60th percentille or even 70th, maine said it seemed like you needed a high 99th overall to get in. I don’t think that’s true.

its weird because i took the test in december and i still havent got the results yet! but im sort of happy because that might of ruined my christmas or new years. i did horrible on verbal! ugh but i think i did ok… ish… for math and reading. blueraven or frannyk can u guys please give me an estimated amount of questions you omitted and got wrong on each section? i find the guides in the book sort of useless because intelligence has seemed to have changed lol. i feel really intimidated because my older brother got like 1 question wrong and 2 omitted in the entire test last year i now my parents expect me to do the same :(

Even though these are the right/wrong/ommited for me, they differ by the test you took.
So the score for the November ssat would be different than the December ssat even if one got the same amount right/wrong/omitted.
