Decemeber SAT/SAT II test for ED?

Hi I was just wondering if the December test would be too late if the early admission date was November 1st? cause i know that i can still take the SATs in October and SAT II's in November and have the scores sent in after my ED application. Would December be pushing it too much ? would it depend on the school im applying to? what do you all think? thanks

Gotta check the requirements of your school(s). each may be different. In general, I thiink Nov. is the last administration for EA/ED at most.

I would say you should do it ASAP. I am doing my SAT Is in this December (2006), SAT IIs in May/June 2007 for the applications in late 2007...

December is almost certaintly too late- you usually hear back from EA/ED in mid-December. By the time they get the scores, they've already made the decision. The school will list the last test dates on their admissions webpage.

It depends on the college... although a rule of thumb that many colleges follow is that they want to see SAT tests taken before the deadline date of the application period. Hence, an ED deadline of November 1 would require that tests be taken before this date, i.e., in October at the lastest. The best thing to do is to contact the specific college's admissions office and speak with an admissions counselor. That's their job to provide this information, and they should gladly do it.

The latest I've heard of ED/EA accepting SAT scores is the November test date. As jdhutchin said, if you took it in December, they wouldn't even get the scores before they'd have to make a decision!

yeah.. thats kind of common sense that i forgot about -_- thanks !

No... not from what I've heard
