Decent grades, good SAT’s, & mediocre extras: Chances for UC’s & up

<p>Thank you everyone for all your replies. When I was a freshman (see grades), I thought I might be going to community college, but I turned it around quite a bit & it's good to see it might actually pay off.</p>

<p>You go to Tesoro dont you? I could tell because you listed Ignite Mentoring as an EC and because I'm a junior there too and my class size is the same as yours (733)</p>

will you be able to visit some colleges this spring break? That will help you to concentrate on the types of schools that you like.</p>

<p>I don't think I'll be able to, but I am still a summer. Over the summer my family may go up Cali to UCLA, USC, Berkeley, & Stanford, but that'd be it for now. Other than that, any schools I visit will be in my sr year spring at places I get accepted to (if I visit them at all).</p>

<p>At least that's what I think...prob not going to the east coast anytime soon.</p>
