i was wondering if you guys could give me some insight regarding my dilemma. i am a student at a pretty solid public school (illinois-urbana champaign) with a 3.9 GPA and want to get into investment banking. however, i am thinking that i could break into investment banking if i were from an ivy school. of course, my GPA will suffer, but do you think should i transfer? any thoughts? thanks for all your help. appreciate it.

well I won't deny that getting good grades at Ivies are harder than at other universities, but if you put in alot of work, i'm sure you GPA will not suffer much.

I guess you're asking whether it is worth it to transfer?
Yes, there are more recruiting opportunities at ivy league schools. However there are also several non-ivy schools that are recruited just as well.
