<p>Hey everyone. I was admitted to NYU EDI. On my application, I put down that I wanted to live in on-campus housing, but since then, I've decided that it would be best to commute. Since I originally requested to live on campus, will my decision to not live on campus affect the financial aid estimate I got on Albert? Can I just not fill out the housing application or do I need to speak to someone about this? Thanks in advance!</p>
<p>You deciding not to dorm because of the cost? because I think dorming is the best way to gain the sense of community which is already very lacking in nyu =P</p>
<p>Just call admissions and tell them you will be commuting from home. That may affect your FA, yes.</p>
<p>If you’re worried about costs, do commute if you can and don’t worry about nyuclassof2017’s comment.</p>
