I have already been accepted to Davis, and have decided not to take the AP Econ/US Government tests that showed I would be taking on my UC application. Do I need to inform Davis of this change, or is it inconsequential?

I meant to say “that I showed I would be taking on my UC application.”

This topic came up in the UCSB forum where someone was asking about a transcript change and I mentioned that they should call admissions. I also said that my sons were taking the APs they projected taking even though they had since found out that a couple of them, unless paired with other tests they weren’t taking, wouldn’t get them ‘out of’ a UC class. They are taking those just so they don’t feel they might have to call and report a difference on their transcripts to the schools where they were admitted (including both Davis and UCSB.) The student OP of that thread called admissions for her issue and reported back that she had also asked them about the AP test issue. She reported that they told her they would prefer to be notified of it, but that it wouldn’t impact admissions.

We weren’t sure it would be significant, either, but for what it is worth, that is the closest thing I have to authority on the subject.
