Deciding a major--is 120 hours over 4 years an overload of courses?

I found out a school I’m applying to has a BSA program that says it has a 120 hour requirement over 4 years. So that’s about 15 a semester. How bad is that? I’m unfamiliar of x# of hours = x# of courses. It seems that 3 hours is one course, so that’s 5 courses a sem? I think? What’s your opinion? I’d be grateful for any responses!

Most programs require 120-125 credits, and 15 is normal for a semester. It might be five 3-credit classes or a 5 credit class (science with a lab) and a combo of other classes. Some classes are only one credit.

@twoinanddone that’s a huge relief, thanks so much!

15 is absolutely normal.
