Hey everyone, I'm a high school senior graduating with the Class of 2012. I'm trying to decide between Cal Poly SLO, UCD, and UCSB. I like Cal Poly/SLO in general, and there's a great program for my major (business). I also like that Cal Poly seems to prepare you for the business field well and is good with connecting you to jobs/internships. I'm still a little weary of the non-UC aspect of it, and that the student body seemed to be less diverse than the UC's. On the other hand, I'm from Davis, and I love it here. The drawback, however, is that it doesn't have an actual business major, but I've been accepted into the Managerial Economics program. Santa Barbara wasn't originally at the top of my list, but since hearing that the Economics/Accounting program is pretty good and being accepted into the honors college, I'm starting to reconsider. Of course the con is that it's a huge party school, and I don't know how that would affect my education there.

Can anybody shed some light on how the Managerial Economics program is at UCD and how it compares to an actual business major, or put in their two cents regarding my decision?
