Just completed my second year at a PSU branch campus. Im trying to decide where i should finish my college career.

I was accepted to both PSU Main and UPitt. I definitely plan on going to Grad School for an MBA or Law.

Career Aspirations: Sports Agent, Lawyer, Financial Analyst, Investment Banker or Stockbroker

Choices: Penn State (Main Campus) or University of Pittsburgh (Main Campus)

If I go to Penn State, Ill double major in Business Management (Smeal) & Economics (Liberal Arts)

I cant get into Finance at PSU because I have a 3.2 GPA not the required 3.5.

If I go to UPitt, I'd strictly major in Finance.

Which university would you attend if you were in my situation.

Penn State just seems awesome!

Is there a difference in cost? Law school is ridiculously expensive, so if that is your goal, you want to study where you will need to take out the least amount of loans.

A good MBA program will expect you to have two to five years of increasingly responsible work experience when you apply. What kind of career placement services do these two schools have for someone with your major?

The overall costs of these schools are about the same, being that I am a PA residential student. I am waiting on my financial aid package from UPitt.

As far as career placement services, That is something I need to learn more about in the upcoming weeks through speaking with advisors from both universities.

Both Schools are so similar, just go to the one that is cheaper (after you find out what kind of aid pitt offers you) or the one you like more. Penn State probably has a little better placement because it is so heavily recruited, but if your aspirations are law school, job placement shouldn’t be much of a factor anyways.

If you don’t have a strong preference either way, I would go to whichever is cheaper.
