Deciding on a college

With college decisions coming tomorrow, I am starting to change the way in deciding what school to pick. The schools I hear from tomorrow are the "harder" ones to get into then the ones I got into already.

But I am thinking if I "barely" get into one of these schools, is it worth going to?

What I am worried about how I will fair once I am in school. The school I am considering right now that I already got into is a top b-school ( i want to do business) but has a high acceptance rate. Won't it be easier for me to rank higher among my peers at this school than one of the "harder" schools to get into? I am in a high school where I am in the top quartile of the students, but couldn't I just as be easily in the bottom quartile of a higher tier college?

Not necessarily. Colleges are very adept at taking kids who can do well.

I understand that, but if virtually everyone is a great student doesnt the competition get airtight
