I chose Vandy over WUSTL because Nashville is a great city and music is pretty important as well. Not to mention the hot babes and crazy parties.

^Ditto for the location part. Nashville/the South > St. Louis/the Midwest

For the most part, if I have to choose between Reputable School A in the North/Midwest/West vs. Reputable School B in the South/California, I’m going to choose School B pretty much every time.

what about on the institution itself then? haha

Number of rulers of the world in the past 10 years (Heads of State or Government of the world’s 192 nation states)

Georgetown 6 (Philippines, Jordan, United States, Bosnia, Portugal, Lithuania)

I think that means Georgetown wins.

Since this is one of those silly things where you mnake your own rules, I am adding faculty member Heads of State (Poland and Spain) which brings the total to 8.

^ why not past 20 or 30. It wouldn’t be clear cut then.

I don’t think we need a total massacre, you would have to add the Chiefs of Ecuador, El Salvador, and Panama as well.

Why not most US Presidents?
Some other schools may get a leg up there =D

Does Georgetown get to count Lyndon Johnson as well as Clinton?

Yale gets to count Bush and Clinton.

Not a record to be proud of^
=P

William and Mary gets Washington, Jefferson, Monroe, and Tyler. None more recently, however, it is making a comeback with some high level officials like Robert Gates.

Can we count forward and assume Greece restores its Monarchy? In that case Georgetown has two more HOSs in the pipeline in Greece and Spain.

I forgot, this is CC, so you can make your own rules. I officially add them in. The count is getting so high my Georgetown level SAT math score may not accommodate this exercise any longer-I think we are at 13. Can we get someone from MIT to help?

I think we can, how about MIT President Susan Hockfield, Georgetown Med Class of '79.

threads like this make me worry about the fate of humanity
