Hi, my name is Dave. I am a sophomore at the University of Central Florida. Academics at my school are a joke, as are the requirements for majors and minors. I have calculated that if I transfer to FSU, I can complete both of my majors (Biology and Anthropology), as well as a minor or two in four years time.

If I remain at UCF, there is a possibility that I may not even be able to complete my majors in 4 years.

Currently, my overall GPA is a 3.68, with a 4.0 in one major, and a 3.75 in the other.

I am hoping to end up at a top 10 law school. Would I be better off staying at UCF, completing one major and some extra courses, or going to FSU, where I can complete two majors and a minor? Friends and family are telling me it doesn't really matter how long it takes you to finish your undergraduate, and if I stay at UCF, it could take me an extra year. I think that finishing in four years does look better when applying to law school, especially because I will not be working.

Should I uproot myself from UCF, and start over socially at a school that i know i will love more? As far as the campuses and schools themselves, I would take FSU over UCF anyday, it is just that I have friends at UCF.

So basically, this is my conundrum (sp?), and I can't quite figure out the best course of action for me. Any advice guys? I'd really appreciate it...
