Deciding which college for engineering

University of Buffalo, Stonybrook, northeastern university, rpi.

by the way im a new york resident

location is pretty important for me too…DO NOT WANT A BORE

i like soccer , sailing, and i have a 95 idk what that is gpa wise

Do you want to be in or near a city? Is “rural” what you mean by “bore”?

I think a 95 is about equivalent to a 3.9, assuming 100 is the highest grade you can get.

yeah no empy space and farms…somethin to do

If location is the main factor, then Northeastern. If cost is the main factor, then SUNY Buffalo. If academics is the main factor, then RPI.

Stony Brook is probably the best value regarding cost and academics.

Northeastern has the integrated co-op programs, which will probably cause you to rank it above or below all of the others.

The least boring location would be Northeastern (by a lot!!!), but the best academics are RPI. If you are interested in the co-op program then Northeastern wins on that score also.

Why don’t you apply to all of these and see where you get in and what you can afford?

P.S. - You have already posted this question before.
