Deciding which score to send

I've made a last minute decision to apply to Duke and George Washington, though I'm not sure which scores to send.

ACT: 32 (34 M 34 E 32 R 26 S)
SAT: 1340 (660 CR 680 M 660 W)

Should I send only my ACT (clearly better) or both? I'm worried that if I send only my ACT I'd come off as "not doing enough" since I don't have any SAT IIs to boast, which these schools recommend.

Btw, why cant AP scores fulfull the SAT II requirement?!

Edit: are my ACT/SAT scores both in the range for Duke + GW?

send your ACT scores only

Thanks branjo, everyone else feel the same way?

I got a 31 ACT and a 1310 SAT. I only sent my ACT to all my schools, and I'm glad I did.

People are worried that colleges look down on the ACT, but this is not true. The ACT in fastly gaining popularity, and schools look at both the exact same way.

Your ACT is with writing, correct?

well its a gamble. if you got 700+ on all your sat 2's, by all means submit both your sat and act. but if your sat 2's arent that great, just go for the act only.

I never took any sat IIs :/ (and im kicking myself for not doing so, took AP Exams though)

Yes, the ACT is with writing and the English/Writing score is 31.

the ACT score of 32 should be in the range for GW or Duke. Since you have no sat 2s, then ACT will benefit you
