<p>Being Asian Helps, but being out-of-state, generally requires a little higher standards than in-staters for admittance. You have AIM or anything ?</p>

<p>no i'm from illinois...but im kinda at a disadvantage bc my hs is def a feeder school for champaign so a ton of really qualified kids apply from here. hopefully i'll be hearing something from them this week...</p>

<p>I wouldn't think being from a feeder school to Urbana would be much of a disadvantage considering sooo many come from the Chicago area. If you want, you could just give them a call, and see what they have to say.</p>
