Decision by March 17

<p>Today I got an email that said I would find out about my admission decision to Emory by March 17 on opus, and that only a few applicants would receive the notification by that date. The email said the rest of the applicants will be notified by April 1st. Who else has received the email. What do you guys think? good or bad?</p>

<p>Maybe it's extremely outstanding candidates, sort of like the ones that some of the ivies send 'likely' letters to. I don't think I agree with either practice though. IMO, either tell everyone you want to accept, at the same time, or don't tell anyone. It just causes the rest of us to have doubt and ulcers.</p>
